Preventing Wrinkles and Saggy Eyelids

The older you get, the more important it becomes to learn how to prevent wrinkles. Saggy eyelids, line under the eyes, and creases in the face can be avoided by taking good care of your skin. You do not have to spend money on expensive anti-aging creams and other products promoted by the skin care industry in order to maintain a youthful glow.

Sun Exposure
Over exposure to the sun is one of the leading causes of wrinkles. This is why it is important to always put on sunscreen before you go outside. This is especially important if you will be outdoors when the sun is the hottest, which is between the hours of 10a.m. and 4 p.m.

You need to protect your skin even on cloudy days because there will still be enough sunlight to affect your skin.

Sleep
Another way to prevent sagging and wrinkly skin is to get enough sleep every night. If you are not getting the right amount of sleep, the lack of rest can leave your skin looking dull and unhealthy. Inadequate sleep can also cause bags under the eyes as well as saggy eyelids.

Hydration
Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day to help moisturize your skin from the inside out. This will also help your skin maintain a more firm and healthy glow. Avoid carbonated and sugary beverages as they can dry out your skin and cancel out the benefits of the water you drink.

Physical Activity
You can also prevent wrinkles by keeping your body moving. In other words, exercise regularly. This will get your blood flowing and improve circulation which will improve the look and health of your skin. It will also help you build the muscles underneath your skin which will help support your skin and prevent sagging.
